Terms of Service

Acceptance

By using the Revres app or this site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the service.

What we provide

Arteractive LLC provides the Revres software, a small relay server, and the marketing site at revres.io. The software is offered free of charge for personal use; we may offer paid tiers in the future, but your existing data and account stay yours either way.

Your account and data

You are responsible for the data you create with the Revres app and for the people you share it with. You retain ownership of your data; using Revres does not transfer any rights to us.

You agree not to use Revres for activity that violates the law in your jurisdiction, that targets others with harassment or abuse, or that attempts to compromise the integrity of the relay (denial of service, spam, fraud).

Availability

We aim for reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted availability. Because Revres runs in part on your device, you can continue using locally-cached data even when the relay is unreachable.

Changes to the service

The Revres app and relay continue to evolve. We may add, change, or remove features. Where a change would meaningfully reduce functionality you already use, we will give reasonable notice.

Warranty and liability disclaimer

THE REVRES SOFTWARE AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ARTERACTIVE LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Marion County, Indiana, unless you have rights under your local consumer protection laws that require otherwise.
